Where are you from?
I am a Yammatji person from Geraldton WA. I have lived in Geraldton my whole life until 3 years ago when I moved to Karratha to be with my Partner for work. I moved to Tom Price about a year ago. I love the weather and the beautiful scenery in Tom Price.
What is your role at Ashburton AAC?
My role with AAC is an Employment Pathway Advisor. I’ve been with AAC for 6 months already and my favorite thing about working with AAC is the rewarding feeling I experience when one of my jobseekers better themselves and get out of their comfort zones to reach important milestones.
What does the day-to-day responsibilities of your role look like?
Being a case manager, I am normally assisting jobseekers to reach their goals, meeting with them to get to know them, mentoring and interacting with jobseekers and so much more.
What would be your perfect day outside of work?
I would spend the day at the beach with family and friends, swimming and having some cold beverages on a warm, sunny day.
What are you currently watching on TV?
I’m binge-watching two series at the moment; Animal Kingdom and Good Girls
If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken, Bacon Cabonara
If you were Prime Minister what is the first thing you would work to change in this country?
As an Aboriginal Australian, it is so disheartening to know that racism is still ongoing.
My goals for the next 12months are to focus on myself, making myself healthy and happy. I would like to save enough money to purchase my first & dream car
