AAC were invited by the Clontarf Foundation to provide assistance and support to the Students at the Clontarf AFL Footy Carnival.
The carnival consisted of Schools from around the Pilbara region and was hosted at Colin Matheson Oval Port Hedland, with over 80 Players, Coaches, Teachers, Parents, Families, and community support services from South & Port Hedland attending.
AAC are always excited to assist in Community events whenever possible, and will be partnering with Clontarf for any of their future carnivals.
Ashburton were asked to provide equipment and supplies for the community event, including an event trailer, burner BBQs, Ezy Up Marquees, Eskys and Ice, 20 packs Yurrama Water and two of our dedicated AAC staff to support the setup of the event equipment.
AAC will be meeting with Clontarf representatives to discuss AAC Services and how that will look moving forward. Our initial goal is to offer and provide a Pathway for Yr 11 & 12 School Leavers and assist them with sustaining employment in their careers of choice. AAC can provide Employment Training, Access to Work Ready Programmes, Cadetships, Traineeships, Apprenticeships, Mentoring Support, and Workshop Activities.
