AAC Tom Price were recently recognised with two awards at the PICCI Business Awards 2022.

The Pilbara Inland Chamber of Commerce event took place on 29 October at the Clem Thompson Pavilion on the state-wide Small Business Day 2022.

Special guests included Peter Foster MLA, Kitty Prodonovich – CEO: Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, Shire Councillor Tina Mladenovic, Joseph Mann from the Pilbara Development Commission and Carlen Woods, PICCI Chairperson and Regional Manager of Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation who made speeches and presented awards.

It was a fantastic night with Famous Sharron as the fabulous MC and delicious catering by Pilbara Kitchen featuring a grazing table with plenty of hot, cold delicious options that guests enjoyed all evening and Cherry on Top Ice Cream Van who made the amazing choc fondue with delicious dipping treats.

This year, there were 21 entrants judged by a panel of judges.

AAC were winners in the Not-for-Profit award that was accepted by our Employment Engagement Officer, Ottillia Chisakula who made such a beautiful acceptance speech. Dressed like a princess, with professional makeup by the famous Zara Parker, it was definitely a night for glamour.

All 21 entrants went into a chance to win the Business of the Year award. Entrants were scored by judges; scores were tallied up with the highest scores announced as finalists ahead of the event. We were astounded to be announced as winners of the prestigious award, accepted by our Regional Manager, Carlen Woods who called on all staff present to jointly accept the award.

We would like to congratulate all finalists and award winners on their well-deserved success. Wishing everyone even more success in the future!
