We couldn’t have an August newsletter without mentioning one of Tom Price’s biggest events on the social calendar!
Every year the entire community in and around Tom Price look forward to the Nameless Junnamarra Festival. This year the festival did not disappoint jobseekers, staff and the entire community. The program was jam packed with exciting performances, wearable art awards, a street parade and even a barbeque masterclass event. What more could you ask for?
We are so proud of the event organizers who made everything run smoothly.
Containers for Change is run as part of the CDP program in Tom Price, giving jobseekers the opportunity to obtain paid employment. This year we were part of the event and had 15 recycling pods set up around the event. We would like to thank the community for making use of the pods for recycling their eligible containers.
