Our Job Seekers are super excited that they are 13 weeks into completing their Certificate 3 in Civil Construction Plant Operations, they have only 3 weeks to go!

 Certificate 3 Civil Construction Plant Operations Course

Some of the work that they have carried out so far has been at the local Cemetery. This week they will be starting on the local school basketball court.

Our Job Seekers are learning a lot about Health and Safety operations that are required onsite, with barriers and signals being used to mark out the worksites. They are enjoying using the (Pos Coms) a two-way radio system, and the correct terminology and use of this equipment.

Graham and Arvi are supervising and managing traffic control, ensuring ongoing safety is carried out at all times.

A big congratulations go out to Eric Yabbe who is now able to operate a front-end loader, Alfred Ball is operating the skid steer, Sebastian Stream is on the excavator. Carey’s trainer Clinton and AAC Supervisor Arvi have done a great job in ongoing mentoring of the above job seekers.

Monday the 19th of July saw our job seekers surveying and leveling the foundations in preparation for the formwork in readiness for pouring the concrete for the Basketball Court.

Local students can’t wait for this work to be completed.
