Exploring Career Pathways

Seeking direction, JS visited Centrelink, where she learned about available opportunities and support for young graduates. With assistance from the AAC, she was introduced to the “Try a Retailer” program, igniting her interest in the retail industry.

Excited to gain practical experience, JS enrolled in the 6-week “Try a Retailer” program, where she was placed at Altra Fine Foods in Karratha. The initiative aimed to provide hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of retail, helping participants assess their suitability for a career in the field.
