Recently, an end of the year Mini Connect Information Session was held at the Lotteries House. The aim of this session was to give job seekers the opportunity to talk to potential Local Employers about upcoming employment opportunities including any training that may assist in gaining employment. Job seekers were encouraged to have a chat with the local employers and were encouraged to present their resumes.
Employment Services Team & Harwell Mentor Vic and Community Outreach EPA Willis both attended the event in support of the job seekers. AAC also provided a BBQ for everyone who attended. AAC Yurrama Water was also offered to those needing to wash down the sausage sizzle and to ensure the event goers stayed hydrated.
Even though extreme weather made for a scorching day, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for job seekers to put themselves out there and get to know the local employers.
