In the last week, AAC Newman has been busy with activities and events picking up.
The AAC women have been getting back into their arts, crafts, and hospitality. One of our job seekers cooked activity attendees breaky wraps which were absolutely delicious. Our Newman activity supervisor has also been assisting our job seekers with their fines and community services to ensure everyone starts the year on the right track. We have had great feedback about the activities and support sessions from our job seekers which is always fantastic to hear.
AAC Newman also recently participated in the welcome to Newman event. Most of the organisations in Newman came together to promote who we are, and what we all do in the Community of Newman. AAC want to give a huge shout out to the Shire of East Pilbara for hosting the event. We would like to thank all the team that assisted in setting up and to the community a huge thank you for stopping by the stall, having a chat, and getting to know how we at Ashburton could assist you and your organisations.
It has been a busy month but we look forward to keeping up with regular job seeker activities and events in the coming months.
