On the last day of NAIDOC week, Nullagine held the Martu Youth Festival.
The festival spanned 5 days and included a variety of games including football and softball. The festivities were topped off with food stands and live music. There was also food stands, live bands, Cultural Presentations and more. Other corporations such as Centrelink, Mark Keogh Training and even the Army attended – Indigenous Members of the Army held a presentation about their experiences in the Special forces.
This event was a great opportunity for Outreach EPA to engage and socialise with job seekers from the community as people came from all across the Western Desert to Celebrate the Martu Youth.
