AAC partnered with IBN to host a BBQ event with IBN, including live music, local fashion and children activities.
We partnered with IBN and around seven other exhibitors, to deliver another NADOIC local event. Alfred Ball did a Welcome to Country. This was an exceptional event with a live band, local fashion designer Bobby Lockyer holding an incredible fashion parade, kids corner, face painting, Aboriginal books including stories with DVDs and our famous AAC BBQ. FMG kindly oaned their BBQ equipment for us to use on the day, our staff cooked up a storm to feed those in attendance.
NAIDOC week allows us to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples it also allows our community to come together and celebrate our First Nations People.
