In Marble Bar this week, activities centred on final preparations of the basketball court that has been under construction for the last few months.
This included digging out footings and concreting the post for the basketball goal in place. Poor water pressure resulted in some difficulties mixing concrete but this was just another learning curve for the attendees.
The basketball goal post has now successfully been installed and construction on the remaining areas of the court can go ahead.
