JOB DESCRIPTION:
Compass Group are seeking applicants who have hospitality experience for a Utility
Attendant role based at their ESS Waypoint Village Site to commence in October 2024. This
will be a 2:1 roster, 1 week of days and 1 week of nights. The hours will be 11 hour day /
night shifts from 9am – 9pm and 9pm – 9am.

• Driver’s license
• CV Check
• Birth certificate / rights to work
• Catering / Hospitality experience preferred with a sound food safe knowledge.
• Reliable and ability to work 11 hour days and nights on a rotating 2:1 roster
JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:
Apply basic communication skills
• Follow routine instructions
• Receive and relay information
Assist with preparing and presenting food
• Adhere to site Food Safety Plan
• Assist with vegetable and salad preparation
• Portion and plate food for service
• Prepare food for service
Deliver professional customer service
• Ensure complaints are dealt with satisfactorily, or passed to the appropriate manager
• Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and ensure customer supplies are
replenished
Work with colleagues and customers
• Communicate effectively in the workplace
• Maintain personal presentation standards
• Work effectively in a team
Maintain clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas

• Clean and maintain public areas
• Clean, sanitise and store equipment

• Sweep and mop floors

• Complete all required Food Safety training to meet company compliance standards
• Identify and report all hazards
• Maintain safe personal presentation standards
• Provide feedback on health, safety and security
• Report all incidents immediately
