Bloodwood Tree Association are seeking candidates to fill a part time Trainee Alcohol and Drug Support Officer role. The traineeship will entail a Cert IV in AOD.

Job Summary:

The Trainee AOD Support Officer will provide practical and emotional support for clients living in the community, whose lives are significantly impacted as a result of substance use. This involves both one on one direct client support, and the delivery of support groups. There is training provided and a Cert IV incorporated.

Requirements:

  • CV Check
  • Driver’s License
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • ATSI identified
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work within a team.
  • Passion to enter this career pathway
