JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking approximately 15 candidates for our AAC Ready2Work 12 week Program who are interested in gaining experience and knowledge in Civil Construction. The program begins after 29th July 2024 and will entail 12 weeks of mentored work experience and training in a Civil Construction Candidate position. The roster will be Monday to Friday – 9am – 3pm.
In week 5 of the program, we intend to incorporate a Cert II in Civil Construction with Carey Training which will consist of 2 days class based theory and 3 days of practical training over the duration of 8 weeks.
We hope to provide enhanced case management and mentorship so that once our Civil Construction Candidates complete our 12 week AAC Ready2Work program, it will ensure they are equipped with the essential knowledge and skills which can result in unlocking future career pathways and securing permanent employment opportunities in the Civil Construction industry.
This AAC Ready2Work program is for individuals who have minimal work experience and are looking to gain field experience, practical knowledge and skills in Civil Construction so they can become a suitable applicant to the company they may obtain employment with in the future.
