JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Reginal Aboriginal Corporation is seeking candidates to fill a Municipal Services Officer position.
This position will require candidates to travel to surrounding Aboriginal communities such as Warralong, Marta Marta, Cheedatha, Weymul, Yandeyarra, Five Mile, Wakatuni, Jinparinya, etc.
Duties involve but are not limited to:
- Airstrip inspection & maintenance
- Tip maintenance & rubbish collection
- Carry out daily power station, water and waste water meter readings
- Power & water compound maintenance
- Dust control services
- Sewer pond inspection & maintenance
- Provide daily & weekly inspection sheets
- Provide fortnightly timesheets
- Weekly vehicle & trailer inspection checklists and reporting faults
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to pass pre-employment medical
- Able to pass D&A screening
- Current National Police Clearance check
- Current C Class license
- Basic LLN
- Demonstrated experience in similar role & working in government departments would be great
- Must be fully vaccinated
Willing to obtain:
- Bobcat/excavator/front end loader/MC drivers/chainsaw license
- First aid certificate (HLTAID001, HLTAID002, HLTAID003)
