On 26th of September, four dedicated Job Seeker from the TPRJ program proudly completed their Chainsaw Training with Employment Training Solutions (ETS), led by instructor Taffey.
The participants Kane, Wesley, Chritopher and Terrance were joined and supported by their mentor, Beasley who continues to play vital role in guiding and encouraging the team.
Throughout the Training, the group demonstrated outstanding focus, enthusiasm, and strong commitment to learning. They not only completed the course requirements but impressed the instructor with their positive attitude, teamwork and eagerness to master the new skills.
One of the most inspiring moments of the training was seeing Terrance take huge step forward in his personal development. When Terrance First Joined the program in the month of September 2025, he was quiet and reserved, often keeping to himself. But during the chainsaw training, he began to open up, engage more with the team, and show his genuine personality and sense of humour. His confidence grew with each session, and it was clear to everyone that Terrance was stepping into his potential.
This Training marks a significant step forward in their employment journey. Equipping them with the practical, job ready skill that are valuable for land care, environmental work, and community projects. Their success reflects the strength and potential within in our local communities when given the right support and culturally appropriate training opportunities.
Congratulations once again to Kane, Christopher, Terrance, Wesley, and Beasley your achievements are a reflection of your hard work resilience, and the strength of our community.
This training was more than just learning how to operate a chainsaw, it was a powerful example of what happened when opportunities commitment. The TPRJ program showed that with the right support, mentorship, and culturally safe training environments, our Jobseekers can thrive, grow, and build meaningful pathways towards employment.
