Forging New Paths: Two Participants Ignite Their Welding Journey

Here at Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation, we aim to support local jobseekers in upskilling to gain meaningful employment. We would like to highlight two of our dedicated participants who have ignited their welding journey as part of AAC’s working collaboration with Bennco Engineering. With courage and curiosity, both Wesley and Kane stepped into a hands-on learning experience where they were able to build skills, confidence and brighter futures.

On Friday 5th September 2025, Wesley and Kane picked up the welding torch for the very first time as part of the Bennco Engineering Welding Work Program. With determination and curiosity, they embraced the challenge.
