A Day of Creativity and Reflection
On September 15th, AAC, in collaboration with Jobs and Skills Karratha, proudly hosted a Goal and Vision Workshop at AAC Tom Price. The event brought together local jobseekers for an inspiring day of creativity, reflection, and future planning. It offered a safe and welcoming space for participants to step back from their daily routines and focus on their aspirations both personal and professional.
Vision Boarding for Clarity and Motivation
At the heart of the workshop was the empowering process of vision boarding. Guided by experienced facilitators, attendees explored their values, passions, and goals. They then created personal vision boards visual collages made from images, words, and symbols that represent their dreams and ambitions.
This creative activity helped participants gain clarity and focus, serving as a powerful reminder of the goals they want to pursue in the future.

Support from Jobs and Skills Karratha
The workshop was made even more impactful through the collaboration with Jobs and Skills Karratha, who provided insights into local employment pathways, training opportunities, and support services available to jobseekers in the region.
Building Community and Confidence
Beyond the creative work, the event encouraged participants to connect, share, and support one another. It was a day filled with encouragement, positive energy, and mutual understanding. Many participants shared personal stories of resilience and ambition, creating a sense of community and shared purpose.
Looking Ahead
AAC remains committed to providing empowering programs and practical support for jobseekers. The Goal and Vision Workshop—supported by Jobs and Skills Karratha—was a strong example of how community collaboration can help individuals not only seek employment but also build a life of purpose and direction.
