AAC South Hedland Gives Back: Recognising Employer Contributions

At AAC South Hedland, we know that meaningful employment changes lives—but it wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of local employers. That’s why we recently took the time to celebrate those who have supported jobseekers in reaching their 26-week milestones.

Our Employment Support team hit the road, visiting businesses with a novelty cheque and a morning tea platter as a small token of appreciation. It was a chance to recognise their commitment to providing opportunities and shaping brighter futures.

This year alone, AAC South Hedland has given back $71,500 to local businesses through employer incentives, reinforcing the power of community collaboration. Among those recognised were Yurra, Category 5 Labour Management, Qube Holdings, Compass Group Aus, TEC Services, and Orontide—employers who have played a vital role in helping jobseekers build long-term careers.

This celebration is more than just a milestone; it’s a testament to the strong relationships our Employment Support Officers foster with local businesses. Together, we’re creating real opportunities, supporting jobseekers, and strengthening the local workforce.

A huge congratulations to all involved—here’s to even more success ahead!
