Supporting Warralong: AAC Delivers Essential Supplies After Cyclone

When severe weather hits remote communities, access to essentials can be cut off — but coming together can make all the difference.

Following recent cyclone conditions, AAC was contacted by Ms Roslyn Alec, Community Liaison Officer for WA Police, seeking assistance for the Warralong community. With roads blocked and resources scarce, we stepped in to help ensure locals had the supplies they needed.

We delivered essentials like milk, flour, Weet-Bix, potatoes, onions, noodles, canned food, toilet paper, and water, using our trailer to transport the donations. AAC currently supports around 30 jobseekers in Warralong, and we were proud to extend that support to the wider community during this challenging time.

The response from both the community and the police was heartfelt, and we’re grateful to have played a small part in helping Warralong get back on its feet.

AAC — here for our communities, no matter the weather.
