On October 17, George and Kane took part in the Welding Workshop hosted in collaboration with Bennco Engineering, spending the day learning essential welding skills from the ground up. For Kane it was his second time attending the program, so he was quite familiar with the workshop and confidently a. George was a first-time attendee and expressed how grateful he was to be included in something that will help him build welding skills.
Guided by the workshop supervisor, both participants progressed from basic techniques to successfully assembling their own individual fire pits – a hands-on project that showcased their new abilities. With support when needed and plenty of determination, both participants completed the task with confidence and pride. Their success reflects the value of practical training and the career-building opportunities this workshop provides.
