Youth Development Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Town Of Port Hedland are seeking applicants for a Youth Development Officer role. The Youth Development Officer will be responsible for developing innovative youth focused programs, seek funding and create strong external partnerships across the Town’s community facilities. An ability to effectively engage with youth people and a wider community will be invaluable.

REQUIREMENTS:

• C Class Driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Police clearance

• Birth Certificate
• WWCC (Or willing to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate (Or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience working with children and/or young people
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work in a team.
