Key duties:
- Processing of small general freight from beginning to end
- Opening freight and checking contents against the client’s order, in particular ensuring correct quantity and type of items have been received
- Ensuring correct labelling of goods including identification and labelling of dangerous goods
- Ensuring all items are scanned to correct destinations
- Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured / packed correctly for dispatch
- Data entry of received freight into the clients preferred computerised system
Requirements:
- No previous experience necessary but any relevant experience related to the duties above will be highly regarded
- Willingness to undergo a traineeship in Supply Chain Operations
- Able to make own way to and from work (no license required)
- Willingness to obtain a driver’s and forklift licence
