JOB DESCRIPTION:

A local employer is currently seeking Data Entry Clerks for their Wedgefield office.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • A strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills which contribute to an ability to consult and work with other members of the AAC team
  • Excellent Personal presentation and grooming
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Experience and a broader understanding of Microsoft Office programs and the Internet
  • Proven abilities in following and adhering to instructions given by line manager
  • Capacity to record data efficiently and within time restraints
  • A strong focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to provide administrative and clerical services and support CDP, the local community and other AAC stakeholders
  • Capacity to operate independently of direct Supervision
  • Ability to administer and maintain a safe working environment
  • Effective time management and organisational skills along with demonstrated capacity to meet key performance indicators
  • Ability to be an adaptive, collaborative, flexible and innovating in problem solving as a contributing member of the wider team.
  • Understand and comply with AAC’s Policy & procedures
  • Communication and cultural competence
  • Capacity to represent AAC in a professional manner working independently or as part of a team
  • Undertake a Police Clearance check upon employment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office with ability to grasp other IT programs/databases

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Demonstrated experience or capacity to work and engage with Aboriginal people.
  • An understanding of the cultural, political, economic and social issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in contemporary Australian society.
  • Experience in working for Not for Profit organisational frameworks
  • Hold a current Western Australian ‘C’ class Drivers Licence

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Focus Area 1 – Service and Delivery
Key Result Area 1 – Service (Data Entry Clerk CDP Hedland)

  • Support the remote job seeker through providing efficient and effective administrative service at all times
  • Under the CDP, provide support to Administration staff through the responsibility of accurate daily data entry
  • Actively promote the organisations profile through excellent customer service and personal presentation
  • Proactively seek opportunities to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of data entry material

  • Motivate and develop independently to achieve quality outputs

Key Result Area 3 – Innovation

  • Implement appropriate methods, systems and procedures to achieve personally and professionally delivering stakeholder outcomes

  • In alignment with AAC vision and mission, plan, develop, schedule, implement and record strategies to continuously improved effective and efficient data entry operations
  • Build personal capability and capacity through participation in the Performance Management System
  • Manage resources and risk
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
