Responsibility: General Duties

Tasks including but not limited to:

  • Engage professionally and/or act as the initial point of contact for clients and customers including dealing with conflict
  • Work effectively, without close supervision
  • Provide communication both written and verbal, internally and externally
  • Support operational staff as needed
  • Coordinate staff roster and schedule
  • Liaison with drivers and other managers
  • Coordinate induction and training of Operators
  • Act as the key relief source for Office and Operations Manager when required
  • Responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with the Alcohol and other Drug policy
  • Control of work-related records and filing and archiving
  • Consultation on Workplace Health and Safety matters
  • Maintain employee personal records file
  • Handle lost property calls and arrange return of items
  • Collect, sort and record incoming and outgoing mail
  • General data entry work and other clerical duties
  • Provide clerical support service to other management staff
  • Ensure office equipment is in good working order
  • Maintain kitchen and stationary supplies
  • Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety procedures and policies
  • Comply with all Company procedures
  • Carry out relief Bus Aide or Warden duties as required
  • Other duties as required

Responsibility: Customer Service

Tasks including but not limited to:

Responsibility: Bookings

Tasks including but not limited to:

  • Engage professionally and/or act as the initial point of contact for clients and customers including dealing with conflict
  • Work effectively, without close supervision
  • Provide communication both written and verbal, internally and externally
  • Liaison with Operators and other Managers
  • Telephone enquiries for bookings, and quotes
  • Prepare quotations as required
  • Manage regular and chartered work through authorised computer software
  • Maintain close contact with other depots and their scheduling requirements
  • Comply with PTA paperwork and contractual commitments
  • Other duties as required

Responsibility: Accounts

Tasks including but not limited to:

  • Assist with accounting duties including entering hours, debtors, banking etc.
  • Receiving/managing incoming money
  • Credit card reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Drivers licence
  • Ability to pass D&A test
  • Previous experience in passenger transport operations
  • Good organisational time management and general management skills
  • Accounting skills and familiarity with computer software systems
